WCS is actively involved in the initial training of future conservations from the region. Through partnerships with many educational and research institutions, schools and universities, CEDAMM welcomes students, school groups, practical training, and development. Through this process training progams hosted at CEDAMM contribute to the increase of scientific knowledge on the rainforest, and the training of researchers and conservationists of tomorrow.
One example is the annual ECOTROP training program that brings students and researchers from across Africa and Europe together for two weeks.
